Welcome to the Gwent Ornithological Society

The Gwent Ornithological Society, founded in 1961, has grown to become one of the most active county bird clubs in Wales. We are proud to have such a dedicated membership and would love to see our Society continue to grow with members all across the county. As a GOS member you will be supporting a Society which works for the protection of birds and their habitats in Gwent. We organise indoor meetings, field trips and outings, and publish regular newsletters, an informative Annual Report and a popular website!
