Main Sighting: Scaup
1 Drake Greater Scaup from 12-3.30pm stil there when I left. Moving around a bit feeding close in to banks.

Main Sighting: Avocet
5 or 6 large Avocet chicks was encouraging to see today as well as lots of small juveniles.Also 2-Water Voles in the reen between the first hide and first platform.

8.40-10am. Pair of Red-breasted Mergansers that didn't hang around long. Flew up high and departed South over Dam unfortunately.
