Dark phase Arctic Skua up channel at 13:47. 2 Commic Tern (u/c) and Swifts in off estuary as groups of 1, 8 and 2. Temminck's Stint still present.

Main Sighting: Swifts
20 plus Swifts, Dippers, grey wagtail, chiffchaff, Robin, 2 cormorants, female goosander, kingfisher, 2 common sand, buzzards and red kites. Also swallows and sand martins up and down the river and fields.

Pen-y-Fan Pond

Main Sighting: Common Sandpiper
Much more song around the area: 5 Song Thrushes, 10 Willow Warblers, 6 Chiffchaffs, 4 Blackcaps, 2 Whitethroats, 3 Reed Buntings. Grey Heron and Common Sandpiper on the edges of the pond. Two Whinchats and two Wheatears at Hafod Farm this evening.

Main Sighting: Temmincks Stint
TWO probable Temminck's Stint near the sluice, seen briefly and distantly from Hide 1 at 5:50, but no further sign by 8:00. Also on first lagoon, 4 LRP, summer pl. Spotted Redshank, and Common Sandpiper. From new screen - Blackwit and summer pl. Ruff. Hide 3 - 1 LRP, and summer pl. Barwit, with one more (in winter pl.) from the seawall. Several Avocet and Lapwing chicks around the site, a Peregrine sat on a post for most of my visit, and Lesser and Common Whitethroats singing near parking area. No sign of Curlew Sandpiper.
