1-Green Sandpiper from the snipe platform,1-GWE,9-Little Egrets,167+Black’wits,1f-Marsh Harrier,4-juvenile Willow Warblers along the fence between snipe and marsh platforms.All water fowl and wader activity now seems to be confined to Priors as the other lagoons are completely dry.10h30-12h00

Single on stony shoals, also 6 Little Egrets together, 1 Grey Wagtail plus approx. 7 Sand Martins around nest site in welsh bank. Kingfisher seen here regularly but not today.

Main sighting: Common gull
Common gull among hundreds of BHGs; few black tailed godwits, 3 curlews, 42 oystercatchers; many dunlin; 2 common sandpipers; 2 kestrels (pair, regular at the moment); 2 buzzards (one sending the other away from its patch); 2 little egrets, 2 herons; mallards, teal, shelducks (several young) – good visit!
