Message from Richard M. Clarke (Chairman)
Dear Members,
The Society has its AGM this Saturday (18th) at Goytre Village Hall starting at 7:30pm and I very much hope that you will join us. This is your chance to hear what GOS has achieved in 2024 and to vote an various motions and it’s a great opportunity to raise any matters with the society – I attach the agenda for the AGM. There’s no entrance fee for this meeting.
The evening will also include presentations from Blair Jones our Secretary on the birds and GOS events of 2024 and our Curlew Ambassador, Verity Picken, will give us an update about the breeding success of this priority species in 2024 and look forward to surveying and monitoring in 2025.
There will be a fun bird quiz and we have a pre-owned bargain bird book sale.
Don’t forget that we also have our sharing Finger Buffet – so please bring along some food for the table and enjoy the treats that others bring.
We very much look forward to welcoming you on the night.
