Main sighting: Osprey
Osprey on telegraph pole.
Sighting by a non-member (Matt Gould) who requested confirmation of identification before submitting the record. Confirmed by photo supplied to Steve Butler. Bird had a GPS transmitter attached as small aerial can be seen on its back.

Main sighting: Eurasion Sparrow Hawk
The hawk swooped on a sparrow on our bird table and defeathered it in our back garden.

Daily walk: Kingfisher 2 Grey Wagtail 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull circa 74 nests Herring Gull 9 nests Blackcap 4 singing.

Main sighting: Kingfisher
Wye: 30 sand Martins, 2 reed bunting grey wagtail, heron, kingfisher diving, raven, chiffchaff, blackcap. Also 5 large chub showing under rail bridge.
Monnow : 40 sand Martins investigating wall crevices, grey wagtail, blackcap, green woodpecker 5 swifts. Several shoals of small chub.
