First sighting of Oystercatcher here. Interesting given the previous post of an Oystercatcher further up the River Usk this morning. Also my first Garden Warbler of the year.

Wood Warbler observed in full song in mixed woodland east of the heath on Beacon Hill, also Willow Warbler, Black Cap, Chiff Chaff.

Was cycling home along the towpath near Risca, when I spotted a Lesser Redpoll hanging from an alder branch.
